Air Visayas provides many baggage options to help make your trips more convenient and relaxed.

Cabin Baggage

Passenger can bring the total of 2 pieces Cabin Baggage with a total combined weight of 7 kg.

The first piece of Cabin Baggage cannot exceed the dimension of 56cm x 36cm x 23 cm.

The second piece of Cabin Baggage of Small Personal Baggage cannot exceed the dimension of 30cm x 20cm x 10cm.

Passengers who do not comply with our Cabin Baggage policy by exceeding 7 kg allowance or exceeding the total of 2 pieces of Cabin Baggage will be charged with Excess Cabin Baggage Fee.

Please note that Excess Cabin Baggage Fee still must comply our policy with the dimension of 56cm x 36cm x 23cm and the total of 2 pieces of Cabin Baggage. If not, your Cabin Baggage will have to be turned into Checked Baggage. Fee and policy for Checked Baggage will be applied.

Our check-in agents, boarding gate agents, or cabin crew have the right to refuse to carry any baggage that does not comply to our policy.

Prepaid Checked Baggage

You can purchase Prepaid Checked Baggage of up to 2 pieces per passenger with the maximum weight of each checked baggage piece is 30kg for your need. Here is a summary of our fee for Prepaid Checked Baggage. Please note that this price is valid until 3 hours before departure time.

If you have not purchase Prepaid Checked Baggage 3 hours before departure time, whether at Check-in Area or Boarding Gate, the charging fees will be changed.

Our check-in agents, boarding gate agents, or cabin crew have the right to refuse to carry any baggage that does not comply to our policy.

Upgrade Checked Baggage

You can upgrade each Checked Baggage piece from 20 kg to 30 kg at anywhere, anytime before departure time with extra fees. Surcharge difference plus extra fees will be charged. Upgrade can be done through our online booking page or through our check-in agents or boarding agents.

Special Baggage

We accept special baggage for check in such as sports equipment, surfboards, musical instruments, oversized bags, etc., for a fee. Contact our agents or our hotline for more information.

Dangerous Goods

Dangerous goods are items or substances that may endanger the society of the aircraft or passengers onboard. Please ensure that you do not pack items specified in this list in your Cabin Baggage or Checked Baggage:

Explosives, flammable or non-inflammable gas (such as aerosol paints, butane gas, lighter refills)
Refrigerated gas (such as filled aqualung cylinders, liquid nitrogen)
Flammable liquids (such as paints, thinners, solvents)
Flammable solids (such as matches, fire lighters)
Organic peroxides (such as resins)
Poisons
Infective substances (such as viruses, bacteria)
Radioactive material (such as radium)
Corrosive materials (such as acid, alkali, mercury, thermometer)
Magnetic substances, oxidizing materials (such as bleaches)
Weapons such as antique firearms, swords, knives, and similar items. Such items may only be allowed in checked baggage at our absolute discretion for very special reasons.
